Daytime Tokyo

The Jet program put us up at a very nice hotel called the Keio in Tokyo. Here are some pictures of the view from the hotel and inside. Our prefecture group went out to dinner tonight at a place called Christon Cafe. Everything was kind of gothic/Catholic looking. We ate right in front of a large alter. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was interesting. I tried to eat a small octopus, but then we named him Fred, and then I just couldn't do it. The girl in the picture is my roomate while at the hotel. Her name is Tina. The guy is my new friend Theo. Take a look at the name of the dessert. Weird!

  • Hi Leilani,

The Keio hotel is in Shinjiku, isn't it? Justin stayed there with Hawaii Matsuri Taiko. It is a nice hotel. My mother lives about a 30 minute train ride from Shinjiku.

I am very happy to learn that you are having a nice time in Japan.

Keep sending picutes of your life in Wakayama.

    Love,
    Uncle Hajime
